RAPID CITY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help proudly supports the Rapid City Catholic School system, which is dedicated to developing personal and academic excellence in the Catholic tradition. RCCSS seeks to build a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through gospel values and academic excellence.
WHO ARE WE?
The Rapid City Catholic School System (RCCSS) is located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Minutes from a wide range of hiking, skiing, kayaking, and a variety of tourist destinations, including Mount Rushmore National Monument, Rapid City is home to more than 70.000 residents and is a destination for shopping and entertainment in the Midwest. The Rapid City Catholic School System is a private, Catholic school with 700 students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Students receive a high quality, faith-based education from a dedicated community of faculty and staff members. For more information about RCCSS, click here.

ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON PRESCHOOL
The Preschool Program at St. Elizabeth Seton consists of four programs: Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Preschool Plus and Child Care. These programs serve children from the ages of 3 through fifth grade and are available from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.
Our preschool curriculum is centered on play-based learning. This involves both child-initiated and teacher-supported learning. Children develop social, emotional, literacy, critical thinking, and creativity skills that create confidence. Children learn skills needed in a structured environment. Children are introduced to Bible foundations and Christ’s Teachings. Children participate in weekly Library, Music, and Physical Education classes. We are a partner in the Starting Strong Scholarship program.

ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The faculty and staff at St. Elizabeth Seton School strive to assist each student in achieving the school’s mission, “Developing Personal and Academic Excellence in the Catholic Tradition”. The teachers at St. Elizabeth Seton School are highly qualified and certified by the South Dakota State Department of Education.
St. Elizabeth Seton School is a faith community. Nothing more clearly speaks to our mission than our Catholic Identity. Our school faith community begins and ends each day in prayer. Each week school Mass or other liturgical events are held. The students participate in service activities.
Family and community are actively involved in the education process: volunteering in classrooms, library, and lunchroom, and assisting in planning and participating in social events and fundraising. Our “extended family” is compromised of parents, administrators, staff and faculty, area pastors, volunteers and various community partners. There are many opportunities for involvement in the school system and everyone is welcome!
St. Elizabeth Seton School is located at 2101 City Springs Road in Rapid City, SD.
In addition to a 3- and 4-year-old preschool program, St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary consists of kindergarten through fifth grade. The school day is from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. As a benefit to our parents, The St. Elizabeth Seton Child Development office offers before and after school care on site for an additional cost.
