Reconciliation / Confession - The Sacrament of Mercy
Twelve times this year the Diocese of Rapid City will offer Days of Mercy. Reconciliation will be offered all day in one of the Rapid City parishes or at Terra Sancta along with Eucharistic Adoration - locations to be announced. In the evening there will be a talk followed by Benediction. The titles range from understanding the Year of Mercy, to explanations of the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy and ways we celebrate and live that mercy. Each month also includes a saint for the month to offer us an inspiration and guide.
There will be five pilgrimages to each of the five deaneries in our diocese. These are Saturday events which include prayer experiences, Reconciliation, a talk, the Sunday Eucharist (anticipated) and a healing service.
