Building Faith, Fellowship, & Family

Faithful and generous parishioners – our predecessors in the faith – labored and sacrificed to hand on to us a tremendous gift: this beautiful Cathedral that has served our parish needs for over five decades. Our parish family of Our Lady of Perpetual Help has a strong tradition as a community where people can encounter and develop an intimate friendship with Jesus Christ. Drawing forth the gifts and talents from our community and embracing the fullness of the treasury of our Catholic faith, we make every effort to embrace lives of faithful and intentional discipleship and generous service to others. Today, we continue to live out our mission to encounter Jesus and serve Jesus through others.

In our efforts to continue our traditions of fellowship, prayer and worship, formation, and service, we face challenges that obstruct our ability to fulfill effectively and efficiently our mission. We lack the adequate space in our parish buildings to truly extend the generous hospitality that we so desire. We lack the necessary space to gather in relaxed and inviting fellowship. We are significantly over capacity to accommodate all who wish to fully participate in our amazing faith formation programs. These shortcomings in our facilities create real obstacles for some members of our community to join us in worship, in fellowship, and to grow in faith within our parish community.
