For those who have youth in the Edge and Lifenight programs we have a supplementary program called Parents for LIFE. Parents for LIFE meets about once a month on Wednesday nights to discuss issues that surround the culture of the youth. They also learn about the subject matter and topics their students are covering in the Edge and Lifenight. Parents for Life provides an opportunity for parents to support one another in the challenges of raising their children. It also provides them an opportunity for some adult education and formation of their own.
Those who are seeking marriage in the Catholic Church need to call the rectory and set up an appointment with one of the priests. The marriage preparation program consists of taking and reviewing the FOCCUS, participating in the Christian Family Planning Seminar and participating in the Engaged Encounter Weekend Experience. Couples seeking marriage in the Catholic Church are asked to call 342-0507 and set up an appointment.
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is another opportunity for adults to grow in their faith. RCIA is process is a journey of spiritual, educational and community formation designed to help people understand more about the Catholic Church and consider becoming a member of the Catholic community.
Finally, adult education is offered periodically during certain feasts and seasons. This happens through educational, formational and spiritual materials that are available for parishioners to take and use. In addition, from time to time there are classes that are offered on given topics. For more information, please call the rectory – 342-0507.
